This is the man in these photographs [link]

I'm kind of hesitant to post this, but I want to show you his eyes.

A week after I took these photo's, I saw this guy in the city again, he was in the same place doing the same thing, like any routine beggar. But he just didn't seem like one.

I had this photo of him printed, so I approached him, kneeled down to his level and gave him the photo.

He looked at the photo with a slight smile.

"I don't change much do I."

I gave him mine, and asked only for his name too, he replied with Peter.

A friend was waiting so I shook his hand and he put the photo in his coat.

Five minutes later I saw him in McDonald's, I offered to buy him a meal, anything he wanted.

"It's ok Billy, I really appreciate your kindness but I'm just here to get a coffee."

I promised to buy him a meal sometime the following week, but I never saw him again.

I still wonder where he's gone, and why he never took up my offer of the meal in the first place. If I meet him again, I'm gonna buy him a meal and ask him about his life.
