I've thought about this photo quite a bit since I've been home. And of writing this. But it's not as easy as I'd like it to be.

It's a personal sentiment that holds a deep significance to a stem of my journey.

It's a cathartic process, in a way, for a dark part of my journey. A bad memory on par with all my good ones. Something that I need to remember, to teach myself.

I've got no shame in admitting there was a big gaping hole in my mental fortitude.

I had alot of feelings pent up, and as it felt, no-one to talk to.

A combination of problems, all stripping me raw, giving me doubts.

It was hard to deal with a plethora of negative emotions, when I was on the other side of the country by myself; as I'd never experienced it before.

But I see now, why the trip was one of the best things I could have done for myself.

I did alot of walking in those months, more than you'd ever believe.

Just me and my camera.

It was definitely worth it, for this alone.

- I know something great will become of that tree, if not how it already was when I saw it.
